Model Training & AI Usage Statement

1. Purpose of This Statement

 

This statement explains how CARBO GPT uses artificial intelligence models, how data is processed in relation to those models, and how user data is protected.

 

This statement applies to:

 

• CARBO GPT (the name)

• CARBO.CLOUD (the platform and infrastructure)

• GETCARBO.CO.UK (the gateway site)

 

 

2. AI Model Architecture

 

CARBO GPT does not rely on a single proprietary AI model.

 

Instead, CARBO GPT operates as an orchestration layer that intelligently routes requests to a range of established third-party AI models depending on:

 

• The nature of the request

• The required capability (e.g. reasoning, summarisation, automation)

• Performance, accuracy, and availability considerations

 

These models are provided by recognised third-party AI providers and are accessed via secure APIs.

 

CARBO GPT does not claim ownership of, or exclusive rights to, any underlying third-party models.

 

 

3. Use of Data in AI Processing

 

 

3.1 Operational Use

 

User inputs and related data may be processed by AI systems strictly for the purpose of:

 

• Generating responses or outputs requested by the user

• Improving performance, reliability, and system quality

• Debugging, monitoring, and abuse prevention

Data processed through CARBO GPT may be used in an aggregated or anonymised form to:

• Optimise platform functionality

 

Where third-party AI providers process data, their own data handling and training policies may apply.

 

CARBO does not use user data to train custom models that are shared with other users.

• Access controls are enforced at a system level

• User data is logically isolated per account and per tenant

 

 

4.2 No Human Review by Default

 

Personal data and AI inputs are not accessed by staff except where:

 

• Explicitly required for support at the user’s request

• Required to investigate technical faults, security incidents, or misuse

• Legally required to do so

 

Access, where necessary, is logged and restricted.

 

 

4.3 No Cross-User Sharing

 

Personal information and user data:

 

• Is never shared with other users

• Is never used to generate outputs for other users

• Is never made visible to other clients or tenants

 

 

5. Third-Party AI Providers

 

CARBO GPT integrates with third-party AI model providers.

 

These providers:

 

• Operate under their own privacy and data usage policies

• Are selected based on security, reliability, and industry standing

• Are contractually restricted to use data only as permitted

 

CARBO takes reasonable steps to ensure providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.

 

 

6. Data Ownership

 

Users retain ownership of:

 

• Their prompts

• Uploaded content

• Data processed through the platform

 

CARBO does not claim ownership of user data or AI outputs.

 

 

7. Limitations and Transparency

 

AI systems are probabilistic by nature and may:

 

• Produce inaccurate or incomplete outputs

• Reflect limitations of the underlying models

• Change behaviour as models are updated by providers

 

Users remain responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them in operational, legal, financial, or regulatory contexts.

Where required by law or platform configuration, users may:

 

• Request deletion of memory data

• Restrict certain types of processing

• Manage data retention settings
